If you place spelling, grammar and punctuation well down your list of business priorities, maybe it is time to have a rethink.
The content of your website has a profound impact on your company’s credibility. One study revealed that 59 per cent of Britons would not use a company that had obvious grammatical or spelling mistakes on its site.

Solving the problem is not simply a case of running a spelling or grammar checker to weed out the offending items. If you have the word 'peach' instead of 'peace', for example, Microsoft Word will not help, for obvious reasons. The solution is to have your copy read carefully by an expert – someone who understands the language in its entirety, from apostrophes to quirky spellings like ziggurat (it's a Mesopotamian stepped tower, in case you didn't know!).
I have those professional copy-editing and proofreading skills and can apply them to:
your website – its main text, metadata, links and general readability
your business documents – for example, reports and tenders
your marketing material – for example, newsletters, leaflets and flyers
your internal communications – staff memos and training material.
Clarity and accuracy are key, and my input will improve the readability of your text and eliminate any errors and inconsistencies that could be costing you valuable business. I've written about how I do it. I worked for 10 years in corporate communications, so I understand your needs and the pressures you face. Just send me an email if you would like to chat about your needs and how I could help you.
