Keith worked full-time in journalism for more than 30 years as a reporter, sub-editor and page designer. He held senior sub-editing positions at daily papers for much of his career and was responsible for award-winning designs.

Today, in addition to working as a photographer, Keith continues to operate as a production journalist on a freelance basis. For the past five years, his services have been in demand from daily newspapers in the UK's West Country.

He has also been responsible for producing new publications. He recently completed work on a magazine that focused on the 'Love Grangetown, Shop Grangetown' project, funded by Cardiff University (see below).

This involved writing features on residents and traders in Grangetown, a suburb of the Welsh capital, designing the magazine and editing the copy.

He also recently designed and edited the magazine Photographic Dialogues (bottom) for the University of the West of England, in Bristol, and wrote a number of features for the publication.
